Request to Amend the Effective Tax Year for Exemptions

To request an amendment of the effective tax year for an exemption being applied to your property, you must submit a Request in Writing to the Exemptions Department. To make this request, complete the electronic form on WCAD's homepage, under the E-Services tab, Exemption Contact.




Click in the Reason for Contact field and select from one of the drop-down options.




Complete all of the mandatory fields and include any additional information you feel is pertinent.

Reasons to request an amended year may include but are not limited to:
  1. Deed Transfer (Non-Sale), Estate, Trust, Transfer On Death (TOD), Marriage, Divorce
  2. Name Change
  3. Update Contact Information
  4. Removal in Error
Select the Tax Year from the drop down to the correct effective year. 



**This form will be submitted electronically to the Exemptions Department. You will not need to print out this form to be submitted. *
