Request to Amend the Effective Tax Year for Exemptions
To request an amendment of the effective tax year for an
exemption being applied to your property, you must submit a Request in Writing
to the Exemptions Department. To make this request, complete the electronic
form on WCAD's homepage, under the E-Services tab, Exemption Contact.

Click in the Reason for Contact field and
select from one of the drop-down options.

Complete all of the mandatory fields and include any
additional information you feel is pertinent.
Reasons to request an amended year may include but are not
limited to:
Deed
Transfer (Non-Sale), Estate, Trust, Transfer on Death (TOD), Marriage,
Divorce


**This form will be submitted electronically to the
Exemptions Department. You will not need to print out this form to be submitted. *
*Please note all exemption requests may take up to 90
days*
Once your request is complete you will receive communication
at the email address that is provided on this form.
