How to Register a Property in Online Appeal System

To add a property to an online appeal account, log in and select the down arrow next to the username at the top right. Select Register Online Protest ID, and you will be able to input the QuickRef ID and Protest Passcode for the property you want to add.

The QuickRef ID and Online Protest Passcode can be found on the Notice of Appraised Value.

Under Tax Code 41.44 (a) (1), You have the right to file a protest by MAY 15 (or 30 days from the mail date on your Notice of Appraised Value) and receive a formal hearing if you are unable to resolve any concerns you may have regarding the property with the Appraisal District. If a deadline falls on a weekend or legal holiday, the last day to file is automatically extended to the next business day.
