How to make changes or add someone to the deed

Any changes or updates to property deeds typically go through a title company or attorney or other legal services. The appraisal district does not offer this service.

Our office will update property records once they are recorded with the Williamson County Clerk's office. However, our office can process ownership records in the event of a passing and the proper documentation is provided (e.g death certificate, probated will, affidavit of heirship, etc.).
