Protests submitted that include a Failure To Send A Required Notice will require the Appraisal Review Board (ARB) to grant standing before the hearing can take place. Once the protest is received, a hearing will be scheduled and a notice sent at least 15 days prior to the hearing.
The
hearing will be two parts. The first part will be to address the issue of not receiving a notice. At this meeting the ARB will review evidence pertaining to the sent notice.
If the
Appraisal Review Board grants standing, you will proceed to your hearing where you will meet with an appraiser to discuss the issue you are protesting. If you are denied standing by the ARB on the Failure To Send A Required Notice, the protest is over.
